Card combat

A six-suit combat deck

Combine cards into poker-inspired hands to fight your way through each dungeon.

Cards are numbered 1–9. Each suit has its own attack ability. Play three or more cards of the same suit—a flush—to trigger a super attack. Combat is turn-based, so you can plan your next move.

The Academy for Dungeoneering grows as buildings are added
Expand the academy to strengthen future recruits.

Rebuild the academy

Heroes come and go.
The academy stays.

The Academy for Dungeoneering once defeated evil so completely that it put itself out of business.

More than twenty years later, evil is returning, and the King wants you to reopen the school. Rescue teachers, train recruits, and rebuild the academy.

Earn gold by completing quests for nearby towns, then spend it on academy upgrades that make your recruits stronger.

In the campaign, a hero’s death is permanent, but your academy and its upgrades live on. Recruit another adventurer and send them into the dungeon.

Four tiers of equipment

Heroes can mix equipment from different tiers. These wizard examples show a complete set from each tier.

Your first assignment

The Wasted Wizard

The King recommends Egbert the Wise to lead your wizard school. First, your students must rescue him from the Corhaven Quarry.

You begin to wonder if the King is more concerned about Egbert's ale than his wizarding skills...
